HealthDay.si, what is it?

We’re a community of health and care stakeholders from Slovenia working towards an innovation friendly ecosystem.

Our goal?

5D2020 - 5 digital health solutions reimbursed by the health insurance companies in Slovenia by the end of 2020.

Digital transformation

HealthDay.si programme is made specifically with the aim to support SMEs and Midcaps in their digital transformation as well as enhance their role as agents of transformation of the whole Slovenian health and care system. We do this by connecting stakeholders, across clusters and sectors, identify specific needs for competencies development and internationalisation.

Why?

In March 2020 there are just two digital health solution in clinical use being reimbursed by the Slovenian health insurance fund.

With dialog and innovation we want to give our share to the reform of the Slovenian health and social care system.

From this base we will go further into the world, where many of our innovators are already today.

What is HealthDay.si?

It’s our programme that help innovators in the inclusion of their solutions into the Slovenian health system.

We educate companies about what is needed to get listed into the paid services pool of Slovenian health insurance companies.

Our new Generation 2.0 comprises of the following 5 companies:

Easycarb - by Sugarbyte; platform for dietary control of diabetes

Primarius C.I.; video instructions to patients in post-operational period of rehabilitation

Carpio - by Deltahub; carpal tunnel syndrome relief through an ergonomic wrist pad

Sostop - by Nova vizija and partners; telemedicine platform for primary care patients

Speechblubs - by Blubblub; app for speech training of kids with speech impairment

We run a yearly program of workshops fro companies, we'll announce the 2020 program and dates in short. Until then following workshops and webinars are foreseen::

Industry policy dialogue

We engage in dialogue with the key stakeholders, policy bodies and authorities. These are: Health Insurance Fund of Slovenia, Association of Healthcare Centres of Slovenia, Medicines and medical equipment agency and the National Institute of Public Health. Additionally, as HealthDay.si is considered neutral body, one of the main goals is maintaining a dialogue among professional organisations, patients’ alliances, medical practitioners’ organisations, standardisation bodies, other bodies in order to facilitate facilitate innovation, transfer of knowledge, experiences and best practices in healthcare system.
