Lateral Approaches to Innovation in Healthcare
Healthcare innovation is hard.
We come to realise this over and over again. It's also why this time we want to approach innovation laterally, in a different way. We've all tried to innovate head-on, yet three problems keep reappearing: 1 - the innovator has a great idea with obvious health benefits for the patients, but the physicians won't listen, 2 - the product is very effective and reduces costs, yet the insurerers don't want to consider it, or - 3 - the sales cycles are extremely long, which makes financing hard to find.
Same problems can't be solved by always applying the same approaches, which is why we present you "Lateral Approaches to Innovation in Healthcare"
