“Financing of Innovations in Healthcare”
After last year’s Healthday event, which attracted more than 150 attendees, we are ready for bigger & better!
This year’s Healthday, on the 3rd of December will focus more on how to fund SMEs and their solution / product development, so that their innovations reach target customers quicker and penetrate the market more efficiently.
In the first part of the event, we will showcase how foreign e-Health ecosystems function, integrate and support innovations. We are looking forward to welcome the representative of the Dutch ecosystem as a key note speaker. Additionally, we will host Estonian guest speaker from Tallin Science Park; also, we are again hosting our Hungarian speaker who will show what they did in 1 year since he presented. Following panel discussion we will present the Partnership for innovation in healthcare in Slovenia which connects key stakeholders in the cycle of bringing healthcare innovations to patients and doctors. The panel discussion introductory speech will be given by Mateja Urlep, an experienced innovator of the largest scale.
The second part of the event will turn to SMEs and give them an opportunity to highlight the most advantageous strategies to best utilize the available funding schemes, which is also a great opportunity for Dutch’s e-Health SMEs to share experience & network with Slovenian companies. We are going to showcase at least 6 different practices of financing development and commercialisation of solutions as: national public funds, VC and angel investments, SME Instrument and other opportunities related to EU funds, such as Marie Curie, H2020 and others used by Slovenian SMEs, ICO (initial coins offerings), investments and/or collaborations with strategic partners, practice of Slovenian case SRIP (strategic innovation partnership) etc. The event will end with a panel of biotech companies.
The event’s accompanying program will provide opportunity for study visits of selected companies, B2B meetings and at the conference attending companies will have an opportunity to present innovative products or solutions at the so-called Show of Technology.
